Hot Cocoa

Don't introduce your toddler to hot chocolate.
Just don't.
Then they think that every thing that comes in a non-reusable cup from Starbucks, Tim Hortons, or Robins Donuts is hot chocolate.
And they will stand and beg at the counter for "oclate, oclate, oclaaaaaaaate!".
And when you give in and make them this hot chocolate (from scratch, from the cocoa powder used only for puffwheat cake), they insist that they can only drink it in their Bunnykins mug with the bunnies pillowfighting on it.
And then they will rouse their parents into several rounds of "cheers".
Its just a vicious cycle. Don't do it.

So your kiddo will drink hot things? Mine doesn't like anything that even nearing lukewarm. She does however love chocolate milk so I'm sure eventually hot chocolate will be a hit. I did make the mistake of giving her a sip of my strawberry smoothie thing from Starbucks. Big mistake, she sucked that thing down. Now she cries, "Sip for baby," when I have anything special looking in a cup. My excuse for now is that it's too hot and she backs down.
