I suppose everyone has eaten this once or maybe a million times in their lives. I never remember having it, but as a kid I probably hated eggs. Its a fast, easy, filling breakfast for our little Missy.
Use a cookie cutter (or knife) to take any shape out of a piece of bread. Save the cut out piece, it can cook at the same time as the toad in a hole.
Melt butter or half a tablespoon of coconut oil on medium heat in frying pan.
When hot, add bread to pan, crack one egg into hole. (Add cut out piece too in pan)
Cook 2-3 minutes.
Flip. (flip cut out piece as well)
Flip. (flip cut out piece as well)
Cook 1 minute.
If you like it really runny, you don't have to flip it at all and then you can dip your inside piece into the egg!
Mmmmm!

I am eating an egg omelet right now. Erik doesn't like egg yolk so far.
My mom used to take bread, and put two salami's on it, and then two slices of hard boiled eggs for the eyes, and then a green pepper for the mouth and a tomato for the nose and it turned into a sangie that looked like Ernie from Ernie & Burt! I loved it!
This is a good idea, for some reason I haven't tried this one. I think it'd be fun to change it up with different shaped cookie cutters, like a heart for Valentine's.
