This is what I have learned about the Dominican Republic:
-the residents are poor
-cockroaches are abundant
-winter is the rainy season (?!)
-sand flies and mosquitoes are bad (greeeeat for someone like me)
-you either have a great time or a bad time there, no middle road
But we're still excited, as is the missy....
