Everyone got to play with Baba's playdough on their own placemats. Milsey had Carebears, Noah had the continents, and Nicholas had photos of all the previous Prime Ministers. It was educational and fun (and didn't last long). See our snow?
This is a great photo showcasing her love-bite. Vampires go to daycare!
The boys were wrecking her Doo Wah Doo dancing.
One of the reasons for their visit was to bring a truck load of kids toys for us. We got: a wagon (my favorite gift!), a big plastic outdoor slide, 400 ball pit balls, a scooter, and a wooden childrens picnic table (which my parents bought the boys when they were toddlers).I had a super busy day today. After getting the Missy to daycare, I participated in Saskatchewan Addictions Awareness' Week Amazing Race. Seven high schools each had 3 student participants and chaperones. It was just like the tv show: we ran ALL over the city! My co-worker and I thought we were going to drop from strokes. Our students all smoke and yet they ran and ran and ran. They were so great. My legs are aching tonight. I still have a runners high. It was crazy fun and our team placed 3rd. Although, we are saying we placed 1st in "fairness" because the 1st and 2nd teams each cheated by having vehicles pick them up from locations and drive them to their next destination, while we took public transit!!! Unreal! And they used TEACHERS vehicles for this said cheating! We were not impressed. It was such a positive day, and that made us miserable. We waited at a bus stop outside N's office for 25 minutes, so he came and gave us some kleenex....and all 3 of our students recognized him from court!
I picked up the Missy from daycare and Piper came home with us too. They had a quick catnap and then we went swimming with N&N&T&D.
Our daughter is crazy. If she wasn't wearing the lifejacket she would just jump right into the water. She can even crawl out of the side of the pool and get into the pool herself! She has no fear. It was quite scary, and THREE adults were chasing her around! She loved the hot tub the best, I love her arm casually draped over the side....
And our weekend just started!

School bus!!!!!! Yaay! I can see why you were upset about the Amazing Race now. Good job in fairness.
I see you finally got more snow.
Crazy about the Milsey's swimming and lack of fear.
One of the moms I hang out with also has a 5 month old and her hubby is so funny. They are going to Mexico next week and he said " Oh we need to get her some water wings!" Duh!!!! She is 5 months old!! Kinda young!
Lotsa nice pics!! I liked this post.
I didn't know she got bit on the cheek, poor little Miss!! You can totally see the kids entire set of teeth in her cheek...kind of what Jake's arm looked like after Lily turned on him a few months ago!
Love the picture of her one arm up on the edge of the hottub...just chillin, relaxin, you know, big kid stuff!
