Thats How We Roll....

We are loving living on our new bay. Well, the bay in the neighborhood itself was built in the 1950's and 1960's, but its new to us.

There are also lots of kids Missy's age for her to play with. We are so lucky that the little girls have like minded parents--so if Missy is playing next door I know she isn't eating popcorn twists and quenching her thirst with Kool-Aid. (just sayin!)

Last night all the kids were outside with their parents, and the parents congregated on our driveway and we let the girls run free. We don't hover over the girls, and thats how we roll on our bay. This is our view from our front step:

There are 2 girls with 'bobs'--sometimes I look out the window and think, "why is my daughter playing outside without me?" But its really Across-the-street-girl. I will have to come up with a better blogger name for her!

Uncle Steven has been staying with us because his apartment flooded. He will be out at the end of the month. He is actually pretty good with the kids and will tend to whichever kid needs him. Yesterday he took Ike out of his carseat (after a carseat nap) and said, "He is sweating, he needs to cool off". And this is how Uncles roll:

Yup, suspending my 4 month old over the air conditioner vent!
