Gay Pride Parade 2009

I took Missy to her fourth Gay Pride Parade this weekend. I know I know, she is only 2. She went to two her first year of life (including the First EVER pride event in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, where people sat in their trucks on the side of the road and stared at us!), then last year the parade here in our hometown, and now in 2009.

She decided to get out of the wagon and walk, and we were left behind the parade, so we never made it to the festivities. We tantrumed with pride all the way back home.

On the way to the parade, Missy saw this huge billboard (we never let her actually get out and walk anywhere, over protective parents) and she ran up and was pointing to Mr Gormley's face saying "big eyes!" "BIG mouth!!". I said, yes Missy, he certainly has a BIG mouth ;) - I know her dad is going to LOVE this picture You'll recognize Piper running towards me as he recognized us coming to join the parade!Pride 2007:
