I decided that for my last homeroom (which is 15 minutes M-F), I would make cupcakes and everyone could decorate them.
I made a huge mess making my FIRST EVER batch of icing.

The girls were happy to participate. One student made an "I'll miss you" cupcake, to which the student beside her said "I'm gonna make one that says 'me too'". Hilarious!

Because I didn't really have a "homeroom", ours was the library, with the librarian always keeping watch.

The apron made its debut on my last day at school! I don't think the students "got it". Our homeroom usually consists of 13 students, but the boys only wanted to eat the cupcakes, rather than decorate! Two refused to participate, which is fine. I obviously had fun!
I received verbal permission from the decorators for their photos to appear in this blog.
