We had strawberries and lots of chocolate chips on hand to make some yummy Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. Mmmmm.
We just slowly melt half a cup of chocolate chips to 1 TBSP of shortening over low heat. Stirring constantly. It heats up pretty fast. Then we let them set for 30 mins in the fridge. Waiting 30 minutes is an eternity to Missy!!
