Little Missy loves playing dress up and with her babies. When its time to leave for daycare in the morning, she runs and pretends to be taking care of a baby. This one needed his peet kissed better. Mommy had no choice. --oh how i hate that carpeting--shudder--

and i don't think your carpeting is all *that* bad, but i do sympathize with you. we had the most ghastly, cheap icky carpeting on our stairs when i bought this place. i couldn't afford to replace it, so i left it there... until one day in a fit of pique i tore it all up- all three flights of it. there was this white carpet tape underneath which had melded itself to the wood finish on the stairs. i won't be able to get it off unless i scrape it off. then i'll have to sand and refinish the stairs completely. like *that* is gonna happen anytime soon! yeah.
so my stairs look pretty bad... but not as bad as the carpeting did;)

I was justing thinking how neat the carpet on your stairs were when I came to your comment about your um...love for it.
Don't worry you can make sure the next house doesn't have that! I do think carpeting is nice when the kiddos are little. It's so much nicer for crawling and learning to walk on.
