Cathedral Village Arts Festival Evening Performance

Tonight we took Missy out waaaay past her bedtime to the Cathedral Village Arts Festival Fadadance evening performance which highlighted signs of spring (butterflies, birds, and brides). The festival lasts all week, with Saturday being the street fair (our favorite!!). Aunty Brett dances with the 'professional/adult' Fadadance group, and we have friends whose children dance with the kids groups (named crazy things like the Nixies, etc). The children danced first; the youngest girls were butterflies, some fireflies, and there is even a boys group with a dozen dancers!
Missy absolutely loved it. When the first childrens group came on stage she watched with her mouth open, but she watched the entire performance very well. Well, she was confined to her stroller wrapped tightly in blankie. She did not get to bed until 9:20!! 2 hours and 20 minutes past bedtime!! It was absolutely freezing outside too. Everyone came home and had hot chocolate, and Daddy of course had a koopsey.
The bridesmaids danced to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"

I know they're moving around but judging by what you're all wearing weren't the dancers freezing?

Sounds like an awesome festival, what a fun idea...I'd love ER to be a nixie, how cute.

What time does Missy get up? 7 o'clock bedtime?! Wow, we're usually eating dinner around then...
