Playdough

We haven't played with playdough in so long, and I think it is because Ike would eat it. He still explores using his mouth, but he realized pretty quick that this was for playing and tasted awful. We still have leftover playdough minis from last Halloween. The kids mixed up all the colors so it is mainly ugly green they play with.

Ike likes for an adult to make him playdough balls. He is devastated when we smoosh up the balls to make something else: he cries "my balls! balls! my balls!". Poor kid. We make more balls but he mourns those balls!

determination....

and success: "I made hearts mommy!"

E was like that with playdoh too. We alwaysa had to make balls.. over and over. And then it became footballs.... over and over and over. He just wanted us to make lotsa balls and he would stare at them happily. He outgrew it finally.
