Plays Well With Others

I love it that Missy is at the age now where we can invite friends over and the mom doesn't have to come too. It keeps Missy very entertained, passes the day away, and motivates me to get the kids to do some activities. Also, Missy is "learning" that it is kind to share with her friends. This is very hard for her to do at 3 years old! All the toys in the house are "mine!". In the morning, before friends are coming over, I hide all her treasures (the most silliest of random objects she collects and hoards) in the master bedroom. She is good in the playroom with sharing, but not with sharing her treasures.

Our 4 year old neighbor comes over the most, and I think its fantastic. However, the girls both have strong personalities and they don't actually play that well together for long periods of time. I like having the neighbor-girl over (she is sweet and I think its so small town-ish that she can just come over anytime), but I often just give the girls different things to do. Missy seems to play better with the 1 year old (neighbor-girl's sister). As time passes, I wonder if they will become better friends. Poor Ike, there are no little boys on our block for him to play with! He will just want to be with his momma anyways :)

Neighbor-girl has the most awesomest style:

PS i am having some trouble formatting my blog and I am not sure why....so my words are wonky and I cannot do much HTML'ing right now!

Wonderful pictures! My goodness Ike looks small next to the big guy. I love that the girls are having a tea party. Can't wait for July so I can have one too!

Format looks good to me? When were all these pics taken? It looks so nice and warm and green! Not in Calgary it isn't! I think we have the same bad weather today.

Nice pics. Missy looks very happy.
