First Race

This photo is so funny.
I never took my camera or my family to my first race, the "I Love Regina Run", this morning. It was a) too early and b) too cold!

Luckily my running mate's entire family was there to cheer her on (including her adorable toddlers), and her dad had his crazy camera with the super long lens to capture us at the start and finish of the race. *She looks a little embarassed to be running next to me.*

After the race, at 9:42 am, I had a delicious cheeseburger and Gatorade. Who knew they had delicious food post-race? There is another 5k coming up in Moose Jaw that has pancakes, sausages, and bacon post-race! And we don't just get a silly hat--we get a TSHIRT! We are SO doing that one

She has convinced me to continue running with the "advanced group" on Wednesday nights. We are hoping 1 year from now to complete the 10K I Love Regina Run!
