Motherwell Homestead

We capped off our amazing summer with a trip to Motherwell Homestead. The kids got to see cows, chickens, horses, and pigs. The farm has summer students dressed as the "olden days" that bake bread, take care of the animals, and farm the land...but the funding is being cut and next year the farm will run as a "self guided tour using smart phones". The day we were there the parking lot was overflowing. It was SO fun.
(in this photo, daddy is showing Missy some cow poop)

There was so much to see! Ike kept running in and out of the barn. He LOVED the animals.

Wagon ride!
