Advent Calendar

We got a special parcel from Nana on November 30th-a quilted advent calendar! She got together with a bunch of other Nana's and sewed little mittens and decorated them. Nana's advent background is different that the other Nana's, she made a tree with a stump etc. And then its quilted. Its gorgeous and can be used every year. Some days have kiddie jewellery and a healthy snack, other days are chocolate and a Christmas pin, etc. Missy is loving it--too much ;) We use it as a bribe in the morning to get her motivated to get dressed for daycare ;) (my dowel is a bit too short, but I wanted to get it hung up!!) That would be an icy square before daycare!
And a pleased girl, filled with chocolate, trying on her new bracelet.
