And we have contact!

I hope that I can make it up to my 4 readers with some summer updates. Our camera mysteriously stopped working so these are from Baba's camera.

This past weekend we went away to Cypress Hills and visited with Seena and her family. When she gets back I will link to her blog for the photos. We had a rustic time, simply put. I was very stressed out, travelling is not easy with a 2 yr old.

Good news, we had an unexpected emergency ultrasound today, and I am happy to report the 11.5 week bean is growing and kicking like crazy. The ultrasound technician said the baby was moving too much and wouldn't stop. I admitted to just downing a Starbucks White Chocolate Hot Chocolate. Caffeine free, but not sugar free. Everything looks great, and the baby has all its limbs and its head in the right place. Perfection.

Baba is here so Missy is experimenting with new foods. Like, eating a hotdog using the bun only as garnish, and eating it from the inside out.

She ate corn on the cob, and beets tonight for supper. Even saying mmmmm to the beets. She can have all the beets she wants next week at Babas.

Baba arrived with a new "prize" (surprise) for Missy: barbies! Baba said they were Escapees from a Nudist Colony! Second hand barbies! And even one Ken! Certainly I need to find some clothing sets for these dolls, but its summer and they will manage for now.

I thought you were away because you were moving. Are you settled in? Has the move happened?

Remind me how the potty training is going. Just got back from a weekend vaca and it was rough being out and about with a trainer in progress who was also constipated. Ugh.

Glad the ultrasound went well! How exciting, hm...does sugar get a baby all wound up? Maybe the little one was just putting on a show for his/her first time on camera, LOL.

Good Lord, BEETS! I won't eat those yeah to Missy for being a better eater than me. The corn has come in here and ER is in carb heaven overload. We get it at farm stands picked that morning and it's fabulous.

Curious about the eating a hot dog from the inside out...

That first pic of Missy is funny, but it kind of creeps me out because it doesn't look like her!! I want my real Missy!!

Missy, I miss you!
